That was incredible.

Some say money is the root of all evil, others say that “money doesn’t talk, it swears”( Paul Aubuchon). Do we talk to our money, or does it talk to us, do we have it under control or has it mastered us. Some people only like rich people because of their money. "Travel is educational; it teaches you how to get rid of money in a hurry." (S. Barry Lipkin) “money makes the world go round”, "Success produces success, just as money produces money."( Diane Ackerman) , “Time is money”, “money doesn’t grow on trees”, “Another day another dollar”…etc etc. Much has been said on the topic of money but few ever really think about its consequences.

Every time I use money I am making decisions and choices which have consequences, many of which are delayed on the time scale. Just like examining the rubbish I throw out can say volumes about me, so does the way I use my money. Just like most people search for a job the way they live their lives, so the way we live our lives dictates the way we spend money. Use of money = a consequences. Use of money = some form of behaviour. Behaviour reveals true beliefs and character.

I totally loved listening to Francis Chan. Sincerity, authenticity and his genuine expression of God’s truth really got my attention. I love how he always personalises the passages out of the bible in a relational way.
